Hi all!
After using my Vertex for a while i wanted to improve it, especially the printing dimensions.
So after looking around here and stalking to svdv, i started building the Vertex XL that he made.
I lasercut his files and bought all the components needed to get the Vertex XL up and running, and soon it did!
I was very delighted that it did because i did a lot of mods at the same time like the dual E3D V6, GT2 belts and poulies, heatbed, TMC2208 drivers etc… But after a few test prints i became apparent that my motherboard had a small but yet unusable issue, it kept resetting itself at random times. After a lot of searching and trying i didn’t got it to work and i took a little break from working on the printer…
Till a few weeks back! i bought myself a Duetwifi with 7" Paneldue, modified a lot to the drawing of the Vertex XL and began lasercutting again! so now the build is on to get it working again!
