Velleman vtlan7 - USB use very limited to mini B only - how-to extend

I bought a Velleman VTLAN7 cable tester.
For testing cables USB it has only a socket USB Mini-B as master to socket USB Type A as remote.

Unfortunately this limits the scope/use of this tester to only a few cables, but there a lot more cables with other plugs and receptacles to test.

Ho to do this with this VTLAN7 cable tester? Is there an extension/enhancment available to this tester allowing to test other kinds/combinations of USB cables?

Do you have an idea/suggestion?

there is said:
“eignet sich zum Laden, nicht zum Synchronisieren”!
So may be there are not all wires/leads in the adapter. Only those for power, but not for data.

In modern speech for USB Type C cables it is called: not fully featured

Not very useful for testing cables with data wires.

Hi @AW_velleman,

You are absolutely right, the adapter is only for power lines, not data lines.
At this time, Velleman does not have adapters available with all 4 lines connected.
