Velleman k8400 online retailers

I was a bit unsure where to put this topic since none of the forum categories corresponded very well to my question, but here it is nonetheless.

I have been looking to get the k8400 kit after the new year, unfortunately my local retailer in Sweden (kjell.com) has not got the kit in stock any more and will seemingly not have it until 2015-02-18, and I would prefer to not wait that long. The same problem seem to affect other retailers such as conrad.se. Now I am looking towards other retailers within the EU which have the kit in stock and ships to Sweden. I would kindly accept any suggestions of retailers which have the kit in stock.

Thanks in advance!

You are lucky, i just stumbled upon this Dutch vendor., they claim to have stock. I have no idea what the shipping costs to Sweden

vertex-k8400.nl

I was going to buy from her before it came out in Kjell.com.

ELFA dot se has 36 in store

It seems like the kit it out of stock when I visit the product page. Also the only ship to Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.

That is the site I found when I did a quick google search as well, have not heard of them before though, but shipping to Sweden is fairly cheap!

Unfortunately ELFA has an insane price of 8 581,63 SEK (910€) inc VAT

Thank you for your answers! So far reichelt seems like a possible alternative.

+1 for Reichelt - shipped very quickly and cheaply to UK.

Reichelt is ok and trustworthy. I have bought many electronics parts from them before (.de shop)

Thank you everyone for your answers! I have now ordered my kit through reichelt!

Just ordered my second extruder kit, haven’t seen it in Sweden at all. Well, to be honest My german is really really bad, so it remains to be seen what actually comes, if it comes, but they said Danke in the end of my purchase and i clicked on the picture of the extruder kit

Thanks for the link!

i guess you totally missed the button to switch to english on top of the screen (de | en)!

One thing you might want to note is that Reichelt are slow responding to emails - don’t place an order and hope that emailing them to correct an item will work. It doesn’t.

Yes, robv.

I saw that later. What can I say, I’m impulsive, but most importantly I’m not ashamed for errors I make. But thank you for pointing that out.

Well I must say that I really did expect that my fellow K8400 friends would be happy for me…

Have a nice day

Ok, biscuitlad. I hope it all goes well for me then. I received a mail with tracking-number a few hours ago so hopefully they at least have quick delivery’s.

I cannot speak for the others, but i am really happy for you! I’m just having a little issues with prints not sticking to the bed enough, but that is a different story. I like the 8400 very much, it just takes some getting used to.

Thank you robv

I’m sorry to hear that you have issues with printing sticking to bed, Please do let me know if you find what causes it, I’m having the same problem from time to time, it’s a bit annoying but I , as you, are VERY happy with the K8400!

I guess this got a bit OT now

If you PM me, perhaps we can connect on Facebook.

Sorry robv, I don’t have Facebook (believe it or not  ) 15 years ago I had ICQ and found my self running to the computer every 10 minutes or so, after that I promised my self that I shall never again have something like that. Call me odd if you like, but that’s me

Got my Vertex from Reichelt today!

UPS was pretty slow to deliver here in northern Sweden.
Will have to wait until tomorrow before I start to assemble the kit, stupid exams!

Have fun!
