Velleman K8062/VM116 and Mac OS

Hi

Trying to use this controller with Mac OS - not being lucky…

It works great with Windows and Freestyler, but when connected to Mac I can’t get a DMX signal on the controller. I’ve tried with several Mac DMX programmes, my favorite is QLC.

I don’t know which firmware is in the controller, if that’s an issue.

Anybody who knows what to do?

The communication between the PC application software and the K8062/VM116 hardware goes via K8062D.DLL and K8062E.EXE.
I think that the problem is that the Mac DMX software is not using the functions of the K8062D.DLL library.

OK shame… Is there any workaround to get it working with Mac? I’m no technical geek though :-/
