As part of a robotics project (lcav.blogspot.com) I’ll need to be able to control 2 stepper motors individually and probably simultaneously.
However I’m more of a software guy myself and I’m unfamiliar with how to operate stepper motors safely. Each motor will be driving a simple caterpillar-track so the robot will end up looking a bit like a tank.
Anyway, I’m looking around for wiring diagrams / schematics for connecting stepper motors to a K8055 board. I’m concerned that if I tried to design such a circuit myself I’d end up frying my USB bus or setting my motherboard on fire or something equally nasty
Has anyone done this before or know anywhere that is likely to have such schematics?
