USB port replacement

I knocked off the USB port of the PCB and tried to resolder a wire to it directly. Sadly one pad on the USB connector of the PCB came undone but I found a trace with a hole through the PCB. I got it all wired up but now my printer is not recognized in windows. I shorted the 4th pad to ground as this one would be ID which I thought I had to short to ground.

LED’s LD5 and LD6 do light up.
