This may be of interest to some,

I have found that Eltima’s USB over Ethernet USB device sharing software works nicely with the PCS10 and PCGU1000, opening up a range of remote monitoring and testing scenarios.

It is not inexpensive, at $ 90 (€ 70) for a 2 PC/1 USB connection (allows 1 PC to share 1 USB device physically attached to another PC). Depending on the application this may or may not be significant.
