USB-Driver of HPS50 recognized as virus

Avira Antivir alerts, that the USB-Driver hps50.exe is a virus (SPR/Injecter.asd). So I loaded the driver up to virustotal.com and got 6 alerts (e.g. also from Kaspersky). Do you know something about this problem?

Thanks!

Virus scanners sometimes tend to get overexcited with their educated guesses… I’ve made some adjustments to the main executable file to not make it trigger your anti-virus.

Feel free to download it from the following url:
velleman.eu/downloads/files/ … ev_3_3.zip

All Velleman Projects software is created and compiled in-house and is safe to download

Thanks for your fast reply!

I’ve installed your modified .exe, but starting the program I’m allways getting the message, that “acntd7_r.bpl” is missing. The old .exe works fine, except the conflict with avira.

I’m sorry, you are correct, please try again using the link in my previous post

Now it works fine, no alerts. Thanks!
