Usb connection to k8200

I have installed drivers, connected usb, lights on the board light up but there is no other response from computer .

Did you also connect the 15V power?
If not, the printer won’t respond, cause the board needs to be fully powered to work.

maybe install the drivers again

and indeed what ichbin said power supply

and you can use the straight line button on your board to force a connection ( that little button on top right)

And check if you used the correct arduino to compile and upload your firmware

You need arduino 1.0.6 for the newer versions of firmware

In the printer settings.
Make sure you have the correct Com port selected
The Baud Rate 250000
Reset on connect set to Disabled
