URGENT ! Stepper Motor cabling for Extruder

I just completed building my K8200 kit and everything works fine, except of the extruder stepper motor.

It does not turn but “rattle” around.

If i connect the Z motor to the Extruder plug on the mainboard the Z motor works ok on that.
If i connect the extruder motor to the Z motor plug it stil rattles.

So i think the Drivers and the Mainboard are ok.

if i help the motor by turing it manually with very light force ist turns, but very noisy.

I checked the Cable colors of my extruder Motor wiring a dozen times.
It is connected exactly as the manual says.

But i still think Ther is a mismatch in the Wiring.

Can anyone point me out which color of the extruder Motor Wires should be connected to which pin on the mainboard socket?
This would make measurements much easier.

Couple of things you can check.
Make sure there is some room between the small gear and the large gear.
If the are to close they will bind.
Make sure the hobbit bolt is not to tight.

Does it turn freely by hand?

Thanks for your reply, i already got it working.

It was a faulty line in the ribbon cable of the Extruder wiring.

Glad to hear it’s working.

Enjoy!!
