Uploading from pic

Hello,
I have a question regarding the pic kit K8048, I have read (downloaded) the program from the pic (automatically saved as a txt file) but how to i then reload that same program into another pic chip of the same type. I do not have the original program.

Please help

For copying a PIC you must save it as HEX file, our PICprog2006 will do that.
Attention, most PIC’s will be set “protected” so you can’t read them back !
