How do I avoid (I think) unnecessary travelmoves on top of this object? While printing it provides a thready stuff which I hardly can remove without damaging my object.

Thanks a lot.

You can disabled this by clicking on configuration under the Slicer tab,
and then under the Extrusion tab tick off the Cool Head Lift option.

If your object is really small, deactivating the cool head lift will probably end up with the top of your piece melted.
The strings generated by the cool head lift function are usually very easy to remove with a cutter.
I understand, thanks for explaining. Fortunately this print (40x50x20, PLA 195 degrees) went well with cool head lift deactivated.
