Hi.
I generally have a problem with bad corners.
I dont know if it is at printer problem or a software problem. Generally i think it is at software problem as I can see some “spots” in the sliced model.
I am trying to make a nice copy of this robot: http://www.thingiverse.com/download:255172
Here is my results. Any suggestions?

I gues it is my starting points in each layer generating a smalle spot.

check the sliced model in single layer view. Those “missing corners” mostly are just caused by Repetier Host displaying both ends of an extruded line like the top and bottom of a cylinder. So, if the extrusion starts (and then also ends) in a corner, it looks like the corner is left open.
The first two pictures rather suggest that there’s too much heat while the part is printed. Could it be that this was the only part on the build plane in that print job? In such a case, printing multiple items helps a lot, as the time for each layer is increased and the material has time to cool down until the next layer is printed on top.

Hi Kuraasu.
I think you are right in both the heat and start/stop corners.
If i uncheck “Randomize start points” I get the “spots” in the same corner.
Well since I now know it leaves a spot in start/stop points I can work on a solution. maybe adjusting the paramer: “Extra lenght on restart”.
Thanks for your answer Kurasuu.
