hopefully someone can tell me how to connect two Velleman k8000 as master and slave.
I understand that you select the board number with dip-switch. How it should be set for master and slave?
Then there is the connection which contains SCL,SDA,DIS. How these should be connected with the boards?
On the same block there is also +5V and GND. Should these be connected also?
[quote]I understand that you select the board number with dip-switch. See manual p. 10 how the different IOs are addressed in the software if they are in the slave unit(s).

I.e. just connect the pins +5V, GND, SCL and SDA from the master unit to the same pins of the slave unit.
I don’t know wich manual you refer. I was not able to find that information in the printed manuals supplied…
I will look again and download the pdf from your site.
But anyway next week when I have time to assemble the another board I will test.
By the way I ordered three K8061 for one of my project. Do you happen to know whether there exist linux drivers for it ?
