I have two problems:
1 VM 8201 does not see …[forum.velleman.eu/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=14089&p=64439&hilit=rob_g#p64439]
2 If the printer must print long, 3 to 5 hours than those who sometimes suddenly shifts on the x or y axis, this is completely random.
Voltage on the drivers are good,
Is no box to print it, so cooling enough.
Supply voltage is also good because he does it with 2 different power supplies.

I think the mainboard has heat problems.
What can i do…

Download marlin v2 from the velleman site.
Unpack and compile it with Arduino 1.0.6. This is the ownly correct working version! (NOT 1.6.0!)
If you flash that, the LCD should work.
The voltage on the drivers is 0.55V?
If the drivers are not cooled (by a fan for example) the can get hot enough to shutdown during long prints.
That’s why i have a force (4mm fan) ventilated case on my PCB and heatsinks glued to the drivers.
I now have two coolers, focused on the mainboard stand.
And guess what.
He within 5 minutes had problems with printing.
Complete the X and Y axis lost.
While everything has been running for at least 30 minutes.
With the Arduino file has not been busy, but I can not imagine that would suddenly run software with an older version.
This is because that Marlin file remains the same.
But I’m going to put this on another PC because I use Arduino software regularly for other applications.
I would also like to hear a response from Velleman !!!
I changed the mainboards but the problem with the VM8201 stays.
Adruino software 1.0.6
And the marlin file from the Velleman site
Printer adjusted again x,y,z
But now I have a new problem:
The printer, prints the contours, and than it slides about 1,5 cm down. There it starts, the first line of the box that I wanted, but only for one square, and it slides again a bit down and starts printing again and than leaves the y-axe.
