Trying to decide on lead acid charger

Hi:

I need a good charger for a 6v, 4.5aH SLA battery that I use in photo work. I was impressed with the features of the K8012, but I’m wondering if the VL0612 has the same circuitry? Which one would give me a charger with the best features? (I don’t mind assembling the kit)

Also, would the K8012 charge two 6v, 4.5aH batteries if they’re connected in parallel to the charger?

Sorry, the VL0612 is an imported product, not a Velleman Projects product, so there is no diagram available.
Also, never charge batteries in parallel !
In theory they could be charged in series, however, for best results we recommend to charge them separately. In this way, the unit has better control over the charging process.
