Hi, I’m trying to input an accelerogram in the function generator (PCGU1000). I’m writing an excel file then saved as a text file (tabs separated); the file contains 8192 points, included between -1 and 1, as stated in the help page.
I then try to read the file choosing “more functions”, “library” and selecting the file, which is saved in a folder other than the library, but the generator doesn’t respond. No error messages, but I cannot visualise the signal.
Am I missing anything?
Does it load OK if you put the file to LIB folder?
I’ve moved the input file to the Lib folder and now I can see my signal on the plot, but when I try to run a wave sequence I’m given an message like ‘I/O error 6’. What is this about?
Sorry actually I/O error 32
I/O error 32 means “SHARING VIOLATION”.
Maybe the file still open in the Excel.

I do not believe the PCGU1000 can deal with a tab-delimited library file, each value or directive has to be on it’s own line–I.e. the data points need to be in a column, not a row…
