I see. Someone should make a guide (in english) with what parts needed and how to change the firmware
I get really bad Z- results, and I need to do something about it. The printer is almost useless, as I never get happy with the results. Everything else is fine except the Z-axis wobble.
Did you already print an z-motor mount? That could already help. And a flex coupler can do miracles as well I just made a rigid coupler but 100% straight. That did the trick for me. But I will change to a trapezoid to when I find the parts I need
Yeah, I have printed the Z-mount and ordered a flex-coupler (waiting for it to arrive). The Z-mount did help a little, but the results are not really nothing to be proud of… I have a pic where it can be seen.
I’m printing a model of a house my friend is about to build. Look at the walls… really bad.

Where die you order your parts?
With the flex coupler and trapezium rod, these problems should vanish
A seller called “WeDo3Dprinting” at eBay.co.uk. I think the flex coupler (5-8) will arrive today, can’t wait to try it. I have not ordered the trapezium rod yet, as I am still unsecure about which parts I need and how to change the setting in the firmware.
so far i have gotten the spindle, hexagon nut, and flexible cuppling.
all are dutch companys, so this is kinda amed for dutch people i guess.
1 x rvs spindle 10X2 klik
2 x brons nut hexagon (2 for a possible second z ax) klik
2 x flexible uppling klik
1 x 10 mm bearing wich i had laying around
i’m starting to draw all the parts needed for it tonight.
i’ll post them up on thingiverse…
but these will be parts specefic for these nuts and bearings.

Thank you for this list, I’m from belgium, so I’ll try ordering these parts there. One question, the flex coupler for a 10mm axis isn’t this one side 10mm and the other side 5mm (motorside). I can’t see this in the list…
you are correct, but the parts you linked, dont fit the parts that i have.
since the nut holder is for 8x1.5
and i had a bearing laying around
and i just like drawing my own crap :P
Do you mind uploading these? I also ordered these spindles and nuts (2 x 6kantige moer 10x2 (afm.17x20))
My flex couplers are in! Tomorrow the spindles will arrive (38cm in length).
Now I just need these parts:
-Second stepper motor (i’ll order it from conrad today)
-Bearings for the top of the spindle
But I can’t seem to find a bearing holder for a 10mm spindle in thingiverse, something like this but for a bigger bearing: thingiverse.com/thing:175137
Does someone have a design for this? If not I’ll try to draw it myself asap.
Once I have everything I will make a step-by-step tutorial for changing the spindles, new settings, etc
I recieved everything except the second steppermotor and top bearings. Hopefully I have them before the weekend. Then I’ll write a decent tutorial so everyone can do it with their printer as well
