I have a question and that is why is my top fan on the printhead not working… It works with normal Cura Slicer but when i slice it with the Vertex 3D printer repetier host the top fan ( the big one ) is not working… where is the problem?
I take it from your question that you’re using a standalone Cura and the fan is working but with the embedded version of Cura in Repetier it doesn’t?
Is the “Enable cooling” checked in the Slicer tab?
In the Cura Configuration/ Filament tab under Cooling is the fan speed on 100%?
You must also check Cura Configuration/Print/G-Code the value of the “M106 S165 ; Turn on fan” command. S165 determines the speed of the fan. If it’s too low it might not start.
the value of the “M106 S165 ; Turn on fan” is there… and the small fan is turning on the printhead.
enable cooling is also on.
the fan speed is on 100%.
yeah in the standalone cura the big fan works. and in the cura version in my repetier host the fan is not working ( the big one that coolsdown the big black block )
ok the fan is now neighter working with the cura slicer standalone and the repetier host. so i guess i have to get a new one… there is also coming a strange noise when he’s shaking the rotor from left to right while printing.
