Hi,
where I work we have a need to powercycle a USB powered device without human intervention.
This will be part of a test run to reset the device to a known state.
We cannot use a switchable USB hub in this scenario.
The hack we have come up with is to cut the 5V wire in the cable and route it through a remotely controllable relay.
After a bit of searching I discovered Velleman and the VM204 module.
I have a simple question to ask.
Is it possible to toggle the relays in a VM204 via a GET or POST request?
If anyone knows of another way to achieve what we’re trying to do, please let me know.
