Tip in the right direction for python, k8055 and windows

hey guys. this is my first post on the vellman forums. i’ve just finished building the k8055.

I’m a newb to using real languages so i think python is what i want to use. can anyone give me a few hints on how to get the k8055.dll working in python on windows?

wow, i just found the driver for labview for this thing which solves almost everything. i can’t believe how sweet this toy is.
i have an input which varies from 4.2-5v. in order to increase the resolution of the reading i need to scale that 4.2v down to the zero.

one way im thinking is you could invert the signal, and then amplify it x4. but i dont know how to do this inversion process. any tips you might be able to throw me?
