The printhead doesn't heat up and doesn't load filament

Hello,
I am thomas from the netherlands.
My school recently bought a printer for me to assamble.
It’s is not working though.

What i’ve done:
I checked all the wireing.
Does the printhead only heat up when the filament is entering the head?
Maybe the motor that transports the filament is broken, but i don’t know how to check this.
Maybe the software is not working properly…, but i also don’t know how to check this.

Does anybody have a idea how the get my printer to work?

About the firmware : did you upload the 1.4 Marlin firmware with Arduino 1.0.6?
If not you’d better do it first.
Is there an error message on the LCD?
