The dimensions of threaded Z axis rod

Hello everyone,

The threaded Z axis rod of my K8200 is bended a little bit when it came to me. So I try to find a alternative in our local hardware store. They asked me about the detail dimentsion since the M8 threaded rod follows serveral different standards.

Could anyone let me know the dimensions/design of the Z axis threaded rod?

The standard K8200 comes with M8x1.25 thread

I measured the diameter of my rod with callipers. It shows the diameter is only 7.8mm. Is that standard value of M8 rod?

Yes, it should be somewhere between 7.8 and 8.0
