Temperature of stepper drivers

Hello

What is the normal operating temperature of the steppes?

Mine seems to get quite hot. I have installed thes heatsinks on them :

I have mounted this fan duck on the printer thingiverse.com/thing:677676
My printer carriage runs real smooth.
I have adjusted the voltage to .91 on all.

In normal printing the stepper heatsinks gets so hut it hurts to keep your finger on them for more than 2 seconds. I pressume 55 degrees C.

I find this quite hot.

Is this normal?

I guess with steppers you mean the stepper motor drivers on the mainboard?
Indeed they can get hot, my reseller made a hint to use heatsinks on them in the size of 10x6,3mm (height unknown so far, I guess also 6,3mm).
Usually these driver ICs can get up to 50-60°C and work without any problems.

I would say my drivers are 50-60 degrees with heatsinks mounted.

Apparently the hardware is ok with it. It has printed for 12 hours at this temperature, with no problem. It worked fine before i mounted the hetsinks also.

So it just me worrying I presume…
