Temperature increases during print

Hello!

I did a print today, and set the temperature to 193C, i followed the first few layers and left it to it’s business. When i come back 10 minutes later, I see that the temperature setting has been increased to 216C for the extruder, is this normal that the software increases the temperature automatically?

Did you use slic3r? If so, you possibly set a different temperature for the first layer than for the rest.

Yes this was with Slic3r

Did you check that both temp settings are equal?
If so, it could be your heatbed thermistor is not correctly installed.

The thermistor is correctly installed, it was the setting that was adjusted, and the temperature increased accordingly, it was not hotter than the setting in the software.

I have had multiple prints with the temperature fine, but this was my first print with software version 1.0.6, so there might be a new setting I am not aware of.

Can you describe a little more detailed which settings I should check and where they are located? Thanks

In slic3r settings there is a setting for dirst layer temp and one for all other layers.
Usually the first layer temp is set a bit higher for better bed adhesion.
Maybe you set the “other layer” temp higher.
