Well this object is quite large and i have made it myselt to mount my PSU on the printer in order to keep control over all the lose wires and stuff.
When my print was finished it get this strange splitting and also in the right side the object raised from the bed. the plast is melting proper I suppose.
I think about the side were the plastic raised from the bed, it was because of smal area compared with the rest part. Am i wrong there?
When the print raises from the bed like this it’s called warping and is a common problem on 3D Printers. If you are printing on glass you can try putting glue from a normal gluestick on the glass (like you used for paper in school) and adding a brim in Slic3r settings, this will add an extra outside edge on the first layer of print so that the print has more area to grip on to the printbed. For this big part I would recommend 4mm brim or more. You can easily cut off this extra brim with a knife after printing is complete.
As to why the print is splitting in the middle I am not sure, what layer thickness are you printing with? And are you certain the bed is 100% level?
Hello,
if U use ABS, no wind on the printed object, then turn the fan off. Also, if you print too fast, the plastic doesn’t stick from a layer to the next one.
