I had the problem of shifting layers a couple of months ago, but after trying several times alligning, it keeps occuring. Then someone told me that i needed to update the software, i did that an hour ago. but now the problem is even worser. it doesnt shifts a millimetre or two, but more than 2 centimetres. i already alligned the axles and updated the software, but now i dont know what to do with it. it’s getting really annoying and takes away the fun and joy to work with it… Does anyone knows what is going on??
Allign rods and pulleys again… it’s 99.999999% not a software issue. If u losen up every pulley and move your carriage by hand it can’t have any resistance AT ALL! The lengths in the manual for the crossbar rods aren’t accurate for every build (at least mine didn’t work and did the exact thing your describing )
It got probably worse due to less lubrication of the rods (if they are lubed and oiled it can print pretty much without huge issue’s but if the lube starts to wear it starts jamming)
