Sticking to the glass

I’ve made a few parts on my new K8200. A few didn’t turn out so well but most are OK. I had some trouble with what I thought was a warping bed when it heats. I read a few posts here and saw some You Tube posts about adding a mirror on top of the original bed. Seemed to heat OK. Parts are printing but are sticking to the glass. Glass was cleared with Denatured Alcohol. Prints don’t lift. I like the mirror because it is very flat and getting the Z to home and gap .04 inches it easier. The sticking is a problem. Any suggestions.

What material do you use?
If the glass (mirror) is cooled down the prints normally should just pop off.

I use a glass plate with self-adhesive plastic windowfoil on it.
It sticks very well.

So far, I’ve only used PLA. What do you mean by plastic window foil? Like contact paper? Don’t know where you are hbzandbergen, but by contact paper I mean a product that comes in a roll with a self adhesive with a peel off backing that comes in anything from clear to solid colors to patterns. Commonly used for lining shelves.

My prints stick very nicely with the glass at a measured temperature of about 65 degrees.

If I’m patient, I usually hear the part pop loose as the glass cools below 45 degrees.

The glass needs to be below about 55 degrees, or the part will probably still be soft.

It’s self adhesive plastic that you stick to a window to make it opaque.
Combined with a bed temperature of 65 degrees and 0.15 mm distance between extruder and foil, it gives a nice first layer.
