Starting probles with the K8200

I have bought by Conrad NL, a kit of the K8200.
In my opinion its a quality product.
Only the coupling between the Z-axis and the M6 threaded rod was missing.
Where can i get it?

The commissioning was simple, mechanical and also electrical.
All wiring was checked 2 times
After connecting the power, all four motors are in motion and make 4 short strokes in both ways.
After that the fan was starting, first slowly and then faster and faster.
In the same time the bed heater was warming up.
After pulling the NTC connection, the heater was stop.
If the limit switch of the X-axis as activates by hand, the X and Y motor move to left and the front side.
By activation the Y limit switch the X and Z motor moved to the front and top.
After activating the Z limit switch the Z and E motor are moving.
I cant believe thats OK?

The voltage of the E motor can not be adjusted on 0.425 V. Its jumping between 0.00 and 5.00 V.

After installing the Repeter-Host software on Windows XP and also the driver, I can make a connection with the motherboard over COM 3.
But the software gives a message: “connected – 4 command Waiting”

If have also made a update of the firmware, with success.

But there is no more movement on the machine.
Printer setting:
COM3, 25000 baud, 1 Stop bit, No parity, auto-detect and cache size 63.
also the other printer setting like the handbook (Web site)
Watts wrong?

The boudrate should be 250000 not 25000!

For the z coupler i suggest getting a flex one insted of the stiff stock one.
Helps a lot with z wobble.

Remove you E stepper driver and see what happens then.
Sounds it is faulty anyway from your description.
Maybe swap it with another axis to make sure.

cheers,

Christian

Hi Cristian,

I see are you from Germany. I am as well.
The 25000 Baud was a writing mistake, it is 250000
I have change the Stepper driver form the E and Z Motor, and now the Z motor can’t calibrate.
The E motor is now stable 0.425 V.
The temperature of the bed is stable 35 °C.
The ventilator is still running.
But there no operation possible between Repetier-Host and the motherboard.
The only message is: “Verbunden 5 Befehle warten”

cheers,

Hans

Then i think the stepper module is faulty :frowning:

Ask Velleman or your reseller for a replacement.
