Unless I wanted to ask a question and also happened to you that after a few minutes Pc_Lab2000se runs as the window Waveform Parameters (with all the options selected) freezes everything and leaves a message stack overflow ?

Maybe there is too heavy load on your PC.
What other programs are you running simultaneously with the PCLAB2000SE ?
If you have a look to the Task Manager: What is the CPU Usage % (on the Performance tab) ?
I have the same problem with PCS500.
Problem persists with all PCLAB versions I tried (including the latest 3.10).
I’m running winxp pro sp2, celeron 2.5 Ghz, 512MB RAM.
CPU load when running pclab is about 80-85%.
“Stack overflow” message usually appears after 10-20 minutes of running pclab.
“Show waveform parameters” option seems doesn’t affect on this.
The cause to this problem is unknown. Probably it is some sort of speed problem.
You may try the slower LPT communication speed:
In oscilloscope program select: Options menu / Hardware setup and there select radio button Communication speed: Slow.
Does the stack overflow happen only if the Run button of the scope is activated and the trace is running on the oscilloscope screen?
If you look in the Task Manager, does the memory occupied by the PCS500 software increases all the time when the scope is running?
