This is a very old German-made motor coming probably from a sewing machine. (The factory had Dr. Max Levy’s name seemingly before 1929). Unfortunately, I am not an expert and cannot describe it in more detail.
My goal is to use the motor for an old watchmaker lathe. A good speed regulation is needed in order to be able to run the lathe at low speeds. I would like to avoid making a transmission but rather regulate it electronically (preserving the torque as much as possible).
