Spaces between lines

Hello

I just started with the Vertex K8400 and I’m having some troubles. When I print the Vertex logo with default settings, I always get spaces between seperate lines.

I tried a few things, but with no better result. What can be the problem of this?

I’m using Repetier-Host of the Vertex website:

Slicer: CuraEngine
Print Conf: VERTEX SINGLE HEAD
Adhesion: None
Quality: 0.1mm
Support: None
Speed: Slowest
Density: 20%

Extruder 1: PLA-1.75MM

Not sure if this will help.
Try printing at 190C
Change the retraction to 4 mm speed 100mm in the Cura settings

Apart from the temperature also lower the flow to 75%.

For your infill not touching the edges, you can have a look at this [color=#408040]article [/color]on how troubleshoot the Ultimaker Original (same kind of design as the Vertex). They say it can be one of the motor belts who’s too slack inducing a backlash (search for the “Circles not round / Lines not touching” topic).

Tighten the belts solved the problem. Also lowering the temperature gives a better result!
