Sometimes filament is shocking

Hi,

What can be the problem on my K8400?
I print PLA , first layer 200° and next layers 195.
Sometime is the pusher (extruder) shocking.
It is like the filament can nott get through fast enough.

Try printing PLA at 210C
All layers

i have demounted the nozzle.
I cleaned the hole at the upside (not the hole of 0.35mm) so the filament get well through.
For the moment seems everyting ok.
I’ll wait to tomorrow???

( it begon all after the change from ABS to PLA, could that be a reason?)

Probably. When you remove the ABS filament the nozzle is still coated with ABS. When you’re switching to PLA the temperature is too low to remove all the ABS which is narrowing the tube.

Why are you printing at 200°C? Are you using the velleman config for CuraEngine and Velleman filament?

I am working with slicr
The filament is from Velleman
Why 200?
I had the impression that the filament get to warm in the hot end (it was compressed in the hot end)
So the hole was clogged. Demounting the hot end to remove a piece of filament…

Also, i have more problems with the blue color than the black color?

Where can we buy, in case, some repair parts like hot end, nozzle, sensor, heater, heaterblock… (not a second nozzle pack of course)

We are not supporting slic3r for the Vertex. You should try the CuraEngine slicer in RepetierHost.

Sorry, we do not sell direct.
All parts can be ordered from your distributor (i.e. where you bought your kit).
Unfortunattely, most distributors do not stock them and will have to special order them for you.
