you have a different print head holder, and an extension to the X-Stop.
This will mislead the printer to its 0, 0 ,0 positon.
You have to define an offset to redefine the correct 0, 0 , 0 positon.
I am not at home, but I have made some modification to the firmware.
I will check next weekend and report back… (if I do not forget it)
Further more, you have to adjust the max size of X and/or y. Depending of your holder.
The actual firmware things the 0, 0, 0 positon is the original, but in real it is 3 to 5 cm off the original positon.
That let the head run out of bounce with some noise, if you come close to 200mm…
Or you can make the changes in the software… which I do not know, because I use S3D as software,
which is different.
I think the first problem is the coordinates of the home position. In the gui, the black cross indicating home is lower left. On the actual printer, its upper right. I checked my settings and I think I found it, check the highlighted section:
It was off by default. I checked it on now, and Ill test later if that solves it, but Im pretty sure it will. Then you will have to modify the actual bed size depending on how far your axis can still move and/or the printer head size.
You’re right, I had a brain fart. Its not the center at 0,0 of course, but for some reason, cura puts the start position opposite of where it actually is. I cant seem to find where to change that.
