Software CD for K8048 and android question

Hi, i purchased a K8048 at my local radio shack in the states and the manual speaks of a software cd.

Since there is no CD in the box, can i assume that i have the correct software as noted here, or am
i missing something ?

Yes, this software will work.
There is a small note in the kit that invites you to visit our site in order to download the latest software for the K8048.
Sorry, we have no experience with Android at this time.

great. thanks for your quick reply! i am looking forward to getting started. i bought the k8048 as well as the universal start/stop timer, 1amp power supply, 3w mono amplifier, Christmas tree, and sound to light unit, to get ready for Christmas by making musical Christmas lights over ethernet cable!!!

i have reached out to a fellow developer to obtain some source code in order to control the pic from an android device, and if he agrees, i will post the source code and schematics for the required cabling.

might be neat to select Christmas songs for playback on the pic, or light patterns from the pic by selecting options from the android device, or download midi files to the pic from the android device.
