Small mistake in the guide?

Hey,
As I’m advancing through the setup, I noticed this:
Near the end, when you have to submit a few wires on the board, you have to cut 1 wire away from the 3-wire connector; the middle one they say, with the color red.
However, later in the guide they say to use the red one from the connecter, but you’ve cut this one?
On the image at that part, it shows thye orange one so I just used the orange wire.

Noticed it twice, last time in chapter 18:

Guide:
Solder the 2 wires from the connector to the 2 wires of the flat cable you tinned earlier. Watch the colours closely.

Flat cable->Connector wires

Red -> Red

Brown-> Brown

Watch image 58 of 96, notice the cutted red wire.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
The pictures are correct.
Manual will be corrected asap.

I have also detect a mistake in the guide. In the guide in German in the chapter 8. In english it says: “Take the parts out of the bag labelled with 28.” and in German it says: “Nehmen Sie folgende Teile aus Packung 24.”

Thank you very much for reporting this, we will get it corrected asap

Should be corrected now.

Hi,
There are also a few occasions where the pictures show (say) 4 pieces of heatshrink, yet only 2 are mentioned in the text. Also there’s a random bit of text at the bottom of page 3 “There should already be an M5 nut on the bolt. Screw a regular M5 nut, an M5 flat washer and a square M5 nut on the foot. Repeat this 4 times. Do not tighten these nuts.” - this shouldn’t be there.
On your “Using the Printer” page it refers to version 0.81 of the Repetier software but this isn’t available anywhere for download.
Otherwise generally an excellent guide with professional pictures, very very good!
Thanks
Richard

Just detected a minor mistake in the german assembly manual.
On page583 it reads “Stecken Sie die Buchse in den Anschluss auf der Controllerplatine (XSTOP).”
Shouldn´t it read “Stecken Sie die Buchse in den Anschluss auf der Controllerplatine (YSTOP).”
Regards
Hans
