I am not sure if we really screwed up while building it, but did your printer only end up with a 20x16x20cm print area instead of the advertised 20x20x20cm? It is the depth, and after about 160mm, the linear bearings hit the end of the carriage. I would like to know what we did wrong, and if we can fix it.

well let me start by saying that something is wrong because the linear bearing should have enough clearance.
i looked at my printer and if i understand correctly your y-bearings (top ones) are colliding with the x-bearings (lower ones) if this is the case make sure to x-bearings are both all the way push inwards, and check clearance manualy
