Slicing Configuration for E3Dv6

I switched to the E3D V6 Hotend and now i am trying to tune out my Slic3r Config.
To the poeple with E3D Hotend: What did you change in your Config?
Of course i changed the noozle diameter, but the printing results are not quite as good as they could be.

Right now, i am working with the newest Repetier-Host (1.0.6) and Slic3r (1.1.7).
I started with the pla_standard_new config.
What drives me crazy are the advanced Settings for Extrusion Width.
Are they really necessary?
For Example:
Default Extrusion Width: 100%
Infill/Perimeters: 170%

I want a good working Slic3r Config before testing Cura/Kisslicer. But if i configure Slic3r with these crazy advanced Extrusion Widths, i think it will be a Pain in the Ass switching to Cura/Kisslicer.

I would like to see some configs from other E3D Hotend Users.
I am not quite satisfied with my config, but i will share it once its good enough to share.

For using the e3d hotends set all percentages to 100%
Retraction should be set to 1mm.
Set your filament diameter do a close average of your REAL (measured) filament diameter.
And, the most important: calibrate your extrusion length to get exactly 100mm when you tell it to extrude 100mm (steps/mm)

Do you know, that 100% extrusion width is based on your layer height?
That means you print pretty round sausages.
I found this theoretical rule to set it up:
layer height < 80% of nozzle diameter, and extrusion width >= nozzle diameter.

My 0.4mm noozle can print down to 0.35mm extrusion width. Anything below 0.3mm is pretty critical.
I set my extrusion width to 0.45 0.4 0.45 0.45 0.45 0.35 0.45 (from top to bottom)

Btw, Thank you kuraasu
I am pretty satisfied with this settings right now. My Prints are rock solid.
For Example, I printed a 15mm Cube. 2 Perimeters (0.45mm each) with 10% Infill and 0.2mm layer height.
Just tried to step on it with my 110kg body weight. Still in one piece, no damage at all.

My retraction is set to 1.6mm. 1mm isn’t enough for my “cheaper” filament. Maybe i will try to lower it a bit. On the other hand, 1.6mm works fine. Retraction speed is set to 65mm/sec.

What print speed did you set up?
I am currently working with 35mm/sec for perimeters, 55mm/sec for bridging and everything else 45mm/sec. Travel Speed is set to 300mm/sec. I know, its quite slow, but i didn’t got the time to really test different speeds. I dont think i can speed it up more than 20% without giving up print quality.

Whst i posted here is just my starting config with the v5 to allow tuning from then.

It pretty sure needs to be set further.

By now i only use cura for slicing which doesnt need such parameters.
