Skynet mail

Concerning Skynet mail : I think the problem has nothing to do with TLS/SSL authentication, but when the sender is not '@skynet.be’ or belgacom-related, the mail is dropped by relay.skynet.be
Is there a way to manually fill-in the ‘from-address’ ?

Jan.

I should check, but Belgacom and Telenet normally allow mail as long as you are on their network. Because then they probably know who you are and where to find you

Have you actually seen the e-mail being dropped because of the from-field or is this guesswork?

Make sure you use port 25, not port 587.

I had the same problem with my webcams. When I entered in the from field 'cam1@skynet.be’ it works.

I will try it myself this evening.

Did you find the time to try it ?
