Hi,
I wonder if it is ok to put silicone between the nozzle and heater block to make sure that no plastic leaks?
If this work maybe it is an idea to put in the assembly instructions?

Hi 3d360,
you’d need some special high-temperature silicone for this, and maybe even more important, you’ll loose the option to easily dismount the nozzle (or rather re-mount it, since extensive cleaning will be necessary in advance). It seems to me, that if some sealant is needed for the nozzle threads, the PTFE tape mentioned in another post would be better suited: low to no adhesion, thus easy removal. However, if your nozzle cannot be sealed any other way, maybe it’s worth a try?
Keep in mind that some of the “usual” silicones will produce a bit of acid while hardening, so don’t use these.
Cheers,
