I have a fully-connected 9 pin D-type plug serial cable. I note in the manual for the K8048 that the serial cable is shown as having pins 1, 2, & 6 disconnected. Will it matter if ‘my’ cabvle is used (i.e pins 1, 2 & 3 also connected)?
That’s no problem. The connection showed on the diagram are the ‘minimum’ connections.
