I was trying to print something the other day and used Repetier/Cura to slice and save to the SD card.
Took the card to the printer but could not find the saved project.
Resliced and resaved this time checking the project file was on the card before the card left the PC.
Again took it to the printer but still it could not be seen.
I then erased everything on the card except the latest project but when I put it in the reader I could still see all the old files and not the new.
I have tested with two cards and they (printer) behaves exactly the same.
I have let the printer sit without mains for 24h, still the same result.
I thought to myself; what happens if I start to print one of the files removed from the SD.
I selected to print a nonexistant file and the printer heats the heatboard, heats the nozzle and to my surprise starts to print !
I then took another SD card and Formated it, saved the desired file on it again and took it to the printer.
Now the printer see the correct file…
Corrupt SD cards are sadly a frequently occurring problem. The only thing you can do is use well known brands, but even then sometimes this happens…
A format is mostly the best way to fix this.

Any ideas ?[/quote]
Maybe the new file format is not compatible with the card reader, so it not be displayed.
