Today I assembled my K8056 board (I am a beginner on this).

It looks OK, but I am not sure.

When I connect the power, I see all leds burning and all swiches make a single click (is this on?).

Is this normal?

I am suprised to see the data led burning because there is no communiction yet.

When I link the computer and start the demo appl (and try different options)
I don’t see anything happening (not even a blink from the data led).

Did I do something wrong?

Also the button on the board does not do anything.

Once again just a guess.

Is IC 1 mounted correctly?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think the IC is correctly mounted.

Check if PIC receives +5V.
If this is the case and the button on the board does not work, then we suspect a defective or empty PIC.
