Resolution of 10V

I need a USB Interface to regulate a dimmer for a led panel.

That led panel can supply 2000 µmol photons. For the dimmer i need the analog output of 10V

So is it right that with that 10bit card VM140 i can resolve with 10V steps of 2^10 = 1024 --> 10V/1024 = 0,001V
Furthermore i can resolve 2000 µmol photon in steps of 10V/0,001V = 1000 --> steps of 1 µmol photons, is that right?

thank u in advance.

ok, sry I did not read precisely…

So in that case I can only resolve steps of 7,82 µmol photons / m^2*s.
Furthermore the technical data sheet of VM140 says that the analog output (with 8bits) can be regulated from 0…5V or 10V/DC
Does that mean that with the right programming (e.g. with LabView) I can only run steps from 0…5V or is there also an opportunity to run from 0…10V?
Because it only says: “0…5V or 10V/DC”.

Thank you in advance.

Greetings

You can use either 0…5V or 0…10V range. Both with 256 steps. The range selected by jumpers.

Thank you.
