Reset

hello,
how can I do a factory reset?
the manual provides no information on that.

Just a guess on my part.
There are a set of pins next to the analog input “Factory Reset”
Maybe short those for a few seconds.
If that does not work try removing power short them and apply power.

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback.

The factory reset is next to the analog Input.

This jumper serves for 2 purposes. Starting up in bootloader mode or factory reset.

For a factory reset. the card must be running aka the red and yellow leds are blinking, then short the 2 pins with the jumper for a few seconds and remove the USB cable. Then remove the jumper and reconnect the USB cable again. It should be now in Factory Reset again.

If you leave the jumper on the pins and reconnect the USB cable the card starts in bootloader mode.

when the leds are on only led1 (red) is flashing.
then I short the 2 pins and remove the USB cable
then remove the jumper and connect the USB cable
then no leds wil come on.
only the power led is on.

If only 1 LED is blinking that means the card is in bootloader mode.

Can you post a high-resolution picture of the VM204?

I hope you can see them.

It seems like there’s something wrong with your firmware.
We’ll post as soon as possible a manual on how to reprogram the VM204

I downloaded the files (firmware and the new usermanual).
I followed the instructions in the manual and now the VM204 works again.
Thanks to you all.

Greetings from Marc65,

Great to hear!

Just for your information, there wasn’t any (blue) jumper provided with the VM204 card that I bought from Kjell & Co in Sweden. I short the pins by other means when necessary.
