Make sure your cellphone emits DTMF tones.
Check if processor receives ring signal (mesure on opto-coupler).

I have found the fault, the problem was my answer phone was coming on after 8 rings before the remote, i can not alter this as it is set with BT phone Co,I had to set the K6501 to come after 3 rings,is there any way that the ring time can be changed or is it set in the program,I can program all types of I.C’s but would need an altered program to put in.
Any sugestions on this?
Regards Albert
It is not possible to use the K6501 and an answering machine on the same line. Either the K6501 or the answering machine will pick up, so the other device will never work.
Thank you once again for the reply.
Yes I know that the answer machine and the K6501 will not work on the same line, the problem is I can not disable the answer machine which comes on after 8 rings the K6501 takes 9-10 rings to come so the answer machine activates first.
If the K6501 could be activated with 6 rings would be ideal as i will only be using the K6501 when i was away on holiday it would not be on permanently .

of rings is either 3 or 8.
Sorry, this is determined in the controller and cannot be changed…
