RDS-Radio made with MM100, MK190, Arduino Nano and LCD20x4

I made a radio with some Velleman modul / kit. It works fine!

There are two small issues:

  1. Display updates produce a noise. One can hear it when music or speech is quiet.
  2. A station at 96.00 MHz is noisy (in stereo mode) although its signal is strong maybe arduino’s crystal 16MHz is causing this?

Schematics:

Has anybody an idea if I can improve these issues by some capacitors?

I could fix the issues described above by using some capacitors and using some ferrite core. the wires to the LCD are now winded a few time around the ferrite core and the capacitors are parallel to its VDD and GND. The antenna cable needs to be in a distance to the arduino.

Thanks Velleman for such cool kits and modules.

Awesome I love it.
Great to see the products you design being used!
