Random movement of x-axis

When I use the control Axis command on my x-axis, it moves. However it moves randomly to the left or to the right. For instance, I’ll change it from +0 to +50 and it will just move 2 to the right, 1 left and then 2 right again.

I’ve tried swapping the driver boards and didn’t change anything.

You should check all of the screws in the pulleys to make sure they are all tight.
The ones on the motors as well.

Did you first hit the home command? If not, the printer doesn’t know where the head is located and moves it randomly or not at all.
