Programmer K8076 PIC16F688

Hello,
Has anyone tried to program a PIC16F688 with the K8076 board ?
When i choose 16F688 in PicProg2009 and then look at the “Hardware connections” i see:
16F688, PDIP Package with 20 pins
However the 16F688 has only 14 pins.

Did you try programming it with correct wiring for 14-pin device?

No, i did not… i’ll change the 20 pins wiring into 14 pins.

apparently the “hardware connections” (colored wires) of the 20 pins configuration (16F688… ?) and the 14 pins (ex. 16F630, 16F505) are the same.
When i put a PIC16F688 into the socket the red led LD4 DVPP lights up (50%) and when i’m trying to read the data i’m getting the message: “the settings don’t match the pic… Do you want to continue”.

Edit: changed “Hardware delay” to 10 and everything is working flawless !
