Problems with motor

Hello,

It happend 4 times now, in like 10 printjobs. And mostly on big printjobs 10h+. Today again, 21h without problems, then suddenly weird noise and 1 axis that doesnt move …
The software thinks it printed corrctly, cause the nozzle is way of track from then on, as you can see in the movieclip.

Any ideas?

Have you aligned the X & Y axis?
If not look in this link for help.

It also looks like you extruder maybe having an issue.
If you are printing with PLA 190C is a good temp.
You should also change the retraction in the Cura settings I have mine set
Retraction 4mm
Retraction speed 110mm

This is just a starting point you may need to tweak them a little.

Hey.

I did check the movement of the printhead. And it moved perfectly with hand. But the 45° angle system is a good test, of it happens again I will do this.
I’m also gonna print those clamps, they look like a perfect helping item.
I did swap the “bad” motor with the extruder motor. This way I can see if the motor is realy broken or not. If it would be the motor, I will have problems with the filament.

I already changed the PLA filament settings. 190° and 70% is a big improvement in quality.

Thx.
